Vision takes us into the future. We know that most people live on or near a coastline. Nakheel has a deep understanding of and concern for coastal futures. We felt not enough was known or being done to protect them. So we acted.

Nakheel is the only property development company in the Arabian Gulf with a dedicated experts working full time in the area of environmental research and development.

We are going further and providing a call to action for the world. Blue Communities is a new initiative to create a global set of standards for coastal development, under the direction of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum.
