The Registration Number shown here has been issued to Nakheel by RERA, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority. RERA was established in July 2007 by a decree of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to ensure a transparent and effective regulatory environment and the efficient conduct of business within the real property sector.

Developers in Dubai cannot carry real estate development activities unless they are registered with RERA and licensed to carry out such activities. This Registration Number is evidence of their registration and compliance. This is mandated by Law No 8 of 2007 regarding guarantee accounts of real estate developments in the Emirate of Dubai that also requires this Registration Number to be displayed within property advertisements.
