From large-scale developments like the ever popular Ibn Battuta Mall, world-famous Dragon Mart and upcoming destination malls across Dubai to a growing collection of smaller-scale, neighbourhood Pavilions and dining destinations, Nakheel’s retail projects are an integral part of every community.
Developments include Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart 1 and 2, Golden Mile Galleria, Nakheel Mall, The Pointe, Deira Mall, Deira Islands Night Souk, Warsan Souk, Al Khail Avenue, The Circle Mall and Nad Al Sheba Mall, as well as major extensions to Dragon Mart (renamed Dragon City) and Ibn Battuta Mall. The retail portfolio also includes several neighbourhood community centres.
In 2016, Nakheel Malls further expanded its operating retail portfolio by opening its phase one extension at Ibn Battuta Mall, neighbourhood Pavilions at International City and Al Furjan and Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. These added almost 400,000 sq ft of net leasable area to previously-existing retail assets, bringing the total operational leasable space to 4.3 million sq ft.
A host of other retail projects, which will bring Nakheel’s total leasable space to 17 million sq ft, is under development.
