Nakheel brings Dubai communities together to celebrate UAE National Day
Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Village and The Gardens host free public events
Nakheel is hosting a series of free public events at four of its Dubai communities in celebration of UAE National Day 2014.
The developer will mark 43 years of UAE independence at Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle and The Gardens with a range of activities and attractions that celebrate UAE culture and tradition. Between them, these developments have more than 100,000 residents.
The events begin on Monday, 1 December at Al Ittihad Park on Palm Jumeirah, with celebrations at Jumeirah Village and The Gardens will be on National Day itself: Tuesday, 2 December. Timings for all four events are from 4pm to 10pm.
Mohammed Al Qassem, Managing Director, Nakheel Asset Management and Infrastructure (NAMI) said: “We look forward to welcoming thousands of people – residents and the wider general public – to our communities as we mark 43 years of independence. National Day is about bringing people together in celebration of the spirit of the union of the UAE, and our events will unite people of all ages, from all walks of life, on this very special occasion.”
Attractions include traditional Arabic food and coffee, dancing, henna, falcon displays, camel rides, ponies, face painting, nail art, children’s play areas, clowns and UAE flag and balloon giveaways.
Events run from 4pm to 10pm. Locations:
