Deira Islands

A spectacular mixed-use, waterfront development, Deira Islands comprises four man-made islands situated adjacent to Dubai's Deira district. The remarkable project covers a total area of 15.3 square kilometres and adds an additional 40 kilometres, including 21 kilometres of beachfront, to Dubai's coastline.

Deira Central will be a spectacular new destination for living, leisure and tourism on the South Island. The self-sustaining community features residential units, retail outlets, leisure attractions, entertainment destinations, lifestyle amenities as well as Deira Mall, which will be one of the region’s biggest malls, with 4.5 million square feet net leasable area.

The Night Market, a modern interpretation of the traditional Arabic souk, is currently under construction and will be the world’s largest. Also on the way are resorts from international hospitality brands including Spain’s RIU Hotels & Resorts as well as Thailand’s Centara Hotels & Resorts.

Deira Islands will also have six marinas with 614 berths that can accommodate boats and yachts up to 60 metres long.
