Al Ittihad Park is a 1.1 million square foot sustainable, green oasis at Palm Jumeirah, with more than 60 varieties of trees and plants indigenous to the UAE. The park opened in 2012 to coincide with the UAE’s 41st National Day celebrations, as a special tribute to the nation. ‘Ittihad’ means ‘union’, and the park was built to be a relaxing place where Dubai’s communities could come together to meet and socialise in natural, shaded surroundings.
The park has been designed as a unique, eco-friendly focal point for residents of Palm Jumeirah, as well as visitors from across the UAE. Al Ittihad Park is a stunning natural tourist attraction for those wanting to learn about the country’s diverse plant life.
Stay fit in shaded surroundings at the 3.2 km jogging track that surrounds the park.
The park is open 24 hours a day, with ample parking for visitors.
